Tangram Shelves from Lago

Tangram is the famous puzzle with 7 shapes that don't over lap that then create an complete shape of say a person or animal etc...

Lago have used the idea to create these shelves, of course you can buy and arrange them how you'd like but the photo show how well it can work to make a focal point in a contemporary or modern living space or office.

Functionally the shelves will not hold many books or items but the point is to create and graphical focal element vs its use.

Dedon Yin Yang - Garden Furniture

The sun is out and the summer is almost here!

Having seen the Yin Yang in the flesh no photo can do it justice. Its very large!

If your have a pool or even a beach this is a must. Basically the Ying Yang by Dedon is two chaises.

Its almost impossible to watch any TV chat show or big borther sort of programs without seeing a sofa from B&B Italia.

The Domino Coffee is a great design.. Simple but eye catching.

This would create a great focal point for a living area and even better in a office loby. The cross over of wood and glass off the combination of tradition and contemporary.

Concept Flow Chair from Hyperthesis

Now and again I come accross some "concept" furniture which I wish was being produced and this Flow chair is one of them.

Hyperthesis visual lab have some great designs and ideas covering many areas but the flow is a "furniture" example..

The idea behind the design called Flow is to be simple and flulid of which it is.



The picture say is all really and could become a iconic design if taken up by a major brand.

The California sideboard is design be Luciano Bertoncini for Bellato.

I sadly can't find much information on the modular sofa other than its designed by Bart Vos and named "7200"..
