Paola Lenti All sofa / chair.

The Paola Lenti all is basically a single large armchair that when put next to another "all" creates and sofa like a normal module sofa.

The one difference to me is the flow in the shapes. Even used in its single form is has a organic modern and contemporary flow but combine more than one as in the picture below the flow will take over a room.

Paola lenti has an array of designs, simple, modern and contemporary.

Not only living room but outdoor/beach/pool/garden furniture.

The Famous LC3 Armchair Le Corbusier from Cassina

The picture says is all really..

The Le Corbusier Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris French designer created the range which includes this LC3 armchair.

Cassina have taken on the designs and reproduced them.

Your be able to find cheap copies of this LC3 along with the entire range of the Le Corbusiser designs but Cassina is the one and only to opt for.

High quality production is what cassina is famed for.

If you have been in a modern office is so likely you have already sat on a LC3 armchair on one of the LC sofas.

Zanotta Karella Armchair.

Now this armchair stands out.

The Karella armchair design by L. Beckmann for Zanotta is.. well odd..

Its almost a sort of lego shape or colour.. BUT i'm sure it would be so comfortable to sit on.

Eon Chest of Drawers by Giorgetti with rotating drawers looks just like a normal chest.

The action of opening the draws is super smooth.

The Eon is a simple and classic design and typical of the Giorgetti designs.

Designed by Chi Wing for Giorgetti with 10 draws and 150 x 45 x 85h cm in size.

This chest would work well in almost any living dining or even bedroom.

Bench / Bush ? Group 5.5 designers

Half bench half bush.

A crazy idea but works well. The only problem I can see is using box hedge might be a bit on the smelly side but you can get non smelling box now (ask your garden center)..

Made of Concrete it basically is a bench with plant containers.. Basically you could put any plant in the bench..

Stone Sofa Neo Livingstones by Smarin

Just came across these today..

Its a great idea of a stone which is a sofa?

You may ask why but these sofas chair foot stools are great. You can fill a living space or outdoor space with what looks like large stones but are soft sofas. I'd love to see them for real. The photos look amazing on the Smarin site and these sofas really do look like stones. I'm sure to blog again about Smarin is the design ideas are great..

The Edra Flap Sofa.

You almost don't need to write anything about the Edra Flap sofa. The pictures say it all!

Such a iconic sofa and one of the most famous design from Edra.

I've seen the baby pink version and I'm not a pro pink person but some how it works even the baby blue works but the black or the white version show off what this sofa is really about as pictured.

Design by Francesco Binfare for Edra the Flap is of course called the Flap due to the adjustable head/back rests and seats. My votes goes to the white version but that may just be just to the my minimalist nature.

ex.pilot armchair by sphaus

The ex.pilot armchair by Sphaus is name due to its look which is similar to a "jet cookpit"..

The wrap around shape is a classical design many armchair take but this design looks great.

Some similar armchair can look over the top or over designed but for me this works very well.

Perfect for a modern or contemporary study and minimalist living/dining room. This chair wouldn't look out of place with more tradtional furniture and many be used to split a area in a room into two parts..

The side 1 chests has 18 draws and must be one of the most distinctive chests.

The cabinet comes in 2 choices with the wave right to left if looking at it from the front with a flat front and back OR flat sides and a wave on the front.

Design by Karim Rashid for Horm. Built with a lacquered structure and front.

The wave design is made of thin slats creates an great effect.

So simple.. Its a great design for a modern and contemporary house/flat.

The only problem would be which room would it suit the most? I'd be tempted to put it in a room I spend the most time ...
